about

In the past the extremely elliptical paths of comets around the sun were difficult to measure. For this reason, people have through time considered comets to be unsettling cosmic appearances. Of the many comets, Haley’s Comet, also believed it could be the “Star of Bethlehem” and Hale-Bop are the best known. In most cultures the comet’s tail, visible to the eye because its gases reflect sunlight, mystically symbolizes light and visions of destruction.
The organ’s Plein Jeu stands for the comets’ brilliance, their clarity and for their blazing and blinding trailing tails.
